This year we are heading up to Julian for a weekend in the Mountains.

Location: Pinezanita camp ground just outside Julian

I found out the Fremonts are playing in Julian Saturday night.  They are one of the top blues bands in San Diego and won the 2006 Best Blues Album award from the San Diego Music Awards.

They will be playing at 8pm at Baileys BBQ in Julian at 8pm right on Main Street. (2307 Main)

Come Friday night, Stay Saturday night and drive home Sunday anytime.
Or you can just do a day pass and come up for the day

Reservations:
I called last week and there are a couple sites still open if you want to give them a call to reserve a spot, 760-765-0429.   There are Tent & RV spots available as well as cottage's to rent if wanted.

Here is what we have so far for names attached to sites and some of the folks listed below have others staying in thier site as well, it's just the name holding the site.

Camp Sites:
All of our current sites are located on the east side of the pond near site 222 on the map at the following link of the camp ground. 

The Flexible Plan: 
It is a flexible weekend and here is a rough schedule that people can join in any or all of it depending on what you want to do..

Friday Night - Check In, Setup Tent/RV etc... 
Friday Night - Dinner, 7pm, Those who want to go into town to grab a bite to eat can or those who want to make or pick up something in town can gather around one of our sites we can much together.
Friday Night - Camp Fire
Saturday - Breakfast 9:30am, Those who want to go into Julian can and those who want to hang out and do breakfast around the camp ground can
Saturday stuff to do... Walk/tour of the camp ground, Play cards, Wine Tasting at Menghini, read, relax, shopping in Julian, Go for a hike, play a board game (bring one of your favorite)

Saturday 5pm - Dinner at Baileys Barbaque 4:45pm (since we will have a group, seating will be better if we eat a bit earlier)
Saturday 8:00pm - The Freemonts playing in Julian
Saturday Night - 9:30 - Campfire
Sunday - Breakfast 9:30am, those who want to go into Julian can and those who want to eat around the camp site can. 
Sunday - Check Out, before 12 noon

Cost:
$12/person per day / $24 per vehicle (2 people)
$ 2 per extra person
$ 4 for electrical hookup
$ 2 for sewer hookup
$ 2 for each dog
$5 day use per car, check out by 9pm

If you do have a RV your welcome to get a site with hookups. Just give the camp ground a call for details and rates.
