Zydeco Dance Steps / Bump Right:

Lead: Bump right is done in the open position the lead letting the follows right hand go on the 1st beat and turning his body 45 degrees CCW on the 1st and 2nd beat, on the 3rd beat he will change his weight to his right foot and bump his partner's hip or shoulder, then move his weight back to his left foot on the 4th count while he slowly starts turning CW 45 degrees then changes his weight to his left foot for the 5th and 6th count and then does a rock step with his left foot on the 7th count and steps forward a little with his right foot on the 8th count to finish the pattern. Many times you can do a few bumps in a row with your partner before going back to the basic step.

Many times the lead with invite you to do several bumps in a row before going back to the basic step.
