Zydeco Dance Steps / 180 CW

This move is done from the closed position where you and your partner will switch positions turning clockwise 180 degrees.

Lead:
On the first count the guy will step forward with his left foot and start moving forward and by the right side of his partner. At the same time he will also be pulling his partner around his body to his right. Both partners will be rotating their bodys around each other counter clockwise 180 degrees. The tricky part of this move is to keep your weight changes normal.

This "move" of the turn is done in the first 2-3 beats of the 8 count pattern and then the rest of the pattern is just continued in the closed position only turned around 180 degrees from where you started.

You could take 8 beats of music to turn 180 degrees with your partner but the whole "look" and "feel" of the move is to do the turning in the first few beats and then finish the rest of the patern 180 degrees from where you started.

Follow:

Just following where the guy is leading your body and don't anticipate anything just keep your back against his right hand on your back and make sure and do your normal weight changes while your turning.
